Participation in the Gaucín Backyard Ultra 2025

Our huge congratulations to our local colleague and club member Emma, who on Saturday, February 1, 2025, decided to start the month with sport, competing and participating in the Backyard Ultra in Gaucín.

For those who don't know what a Backyard is, it's a trail race that consists of completing a 6.7 km loop with a start every hour. The goal is to complete the course as many times as possible within an hour, with the winner being the last person to complete the course alone in one hour.

Emma managed to complete more than 53km, 8 laps, 8 hours in the race, accumulating more than 1447m in total.

She is a clear example that with training and a determined mind you can do many things.
